DIRECTV H25 Receiver Setup Guide for commercial property owners and installers. This guide will show you how to enter the DIRECTV receiver menu for an H25 model on the DIRECTV Residential Experience (DRE), and walk you through each screen until you are able to send your “authorization hit”. To complete this setup, you will need your DIRECTV remote.

H25 Receiver Setup Step 1:

Press the “Left” directional button on your DIRECTV remote while on the “System Info & Test Screen”.

H25 Receiver Setup Step 2:

Press + Hold the “Red Dot Button” for 10 seconds, or until the menu pops up.

H25 Receiver Setup Step 3:

Select “Satellite” from the Menu on the Left of the screen.

H25 Receiver Setup Step 4:

Select “Repeat Satellite Setup”

(* If “Tuner Conflict” appears, select “Yes Interrupt” *)

H25 Receiver Setup Step 5:

Press the “Dash Button (-)” as instructed on the screen.

Verify your Dish Configuration on the “Satellite Dish Setup” screen.

Select “Continue” at the Bottom Right of the Screen.

Select “Continue” at the “Satellite Dish Setup Complete” screen.

H25 Receiver Setup Step 9:

Allow the process to complete the loading bar.

H25 Receiver Setup Step 10:

You are now confirmed to send the “Authorization Hit” to DIRECTV.

(Please confirm authorization before selecting “continue”.)

Select “Continue” at the Bottom Right of the screen.

H25 Receiver Setup Step 12:

Begin DIRECTV Remote Setup or Choose to Setup DIRECTV Remote at later time.
